Details:

L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Web Designer.

  • Work in a collaborative team environment that includes project management, business analysis, information development, software development and quality assurance.
  • Analyze business requirements to design user interfaces.
  • Evaluate user interface designs and write user interface specifications.
  • Build wireframes using Balsamiq if needed from business analysts.
  • Utilize UXPin to build mock ups to demonstrate designs to the team and to users.
  • Provide web templates of prototypes (upon team's agreement) using Bootstrap and other web programming technologies to provide for use by the development team.
  • Work with developers to implement the designs.
  • Ensure that the visual structure of the UI remains consistent across multiple components/browsers and meets accessibility standards.
  • Carry out usability testing of the designs and analyze results of usability testing.
  • Assist with continually updating and maintaining OMH UI/UX Standards and Design guide.
  • Follow all UI/UX standards while designing.
Job Requirements

Details:
  • 7 years of experience in web-based application user interface design which leverage emergent technologies and accessibility standards defined in World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • 7 years of experience in user interface design using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Balsamiq, UXPin or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • 7 years of experience with building mock ups and prototypes of user interfaces.
  • 5 years of experience and knowledge of using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design coding for mobile devices.
  • 5 years of experience in web designing using Bootstrap framework.
  • 5 years of experience working with TFS/Azure DevOps and navigating projects in Visual Studio.
  • 4 years of experience troubleshooting styling and browser compatibility issues.
  • 4 years of experience with designing web based health care applications.
  • 4 years of experience working on applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
