We are seeking a Mechanical Designer/ Draftsperson to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble customer parts and create repair scopes
- Make detailed inspection reports (proficient use of precision measuring tools required)
- Reverse Engineer - create assembly and detail drawings of parts.
- Adhere to company standards
- Check other designer’s work
- Release jobs to production
- Perform ECR/ECO's (Engineering Change Requests/Orders)
- Good communication skills required.
- Must have experience with AutoCAD and Inventor (or similar modeling software).
- Must be willing to work overtime to get the job out.
Experience managing others is a plus.
Experience reverse engineering bearings and seals for rotating machinery a plus.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
- Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
- Familiarity with CAD or other related software
- Deadline and detail-oriented
