Job Description:

Position: Graphic Designer

Location: South Austin, TX

Onsite: 2 days per week

Rate: $40-70/hr W-2 dependent on years of experience

Duration: 1 year (Can extend)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to design campaign materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, billboards, and print assets.
  • Develop visually compelling concepts that align with the campaigns messaging
  • Ensure all creative designs reflect the unique character and values of Texas, incorporating campaign typography, colors, and styles.
  • Produce dynamic and creative artwork for various formats, including digital ads, print layouts, OOH (out-of-home), social media and collateral materials.
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all campaign materials while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table.

Requirements:

  • Ability to blend illustration, color palettes, and typography into cohesive and visually impactful designs.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, ideally within advertising, social campaigns, or public awareness initiatives.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A portfolio showcasing bold typography, visual storytelling, and a passion for creating work that resonates emotionally.
  • Ability to adapt designs across different mediums — from digital to print.
  • Familiarity with Texan culture is highly preferred.
  • Ability to take direction and respond to briefs while providing original creative perspective
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely, meeting project deadlines
