Plumbing Engineer needed for a fast-growing company with challenging design/build projects throughout Colorado. Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial plumbing design.

Plumbing Engineer needed for a fast-growing company with challenging design/build projects throughout Colorado. Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial plumbing design.
Position Responsibilities:
- Working closely with PreCon and Design team members
- Identify interferences with the architectural, structural, and other MEP elements
- Detailed knowledge of building codes
- Conducting site surveys
- Produce details/drawings that comply with design criteria, contract requirements and applicable code
- Coordinate mechanical /plumbing models with other trade professionals and appropriate department leads
- Work requires occasional travel to job sites
- Maintain a safe work attitude and encourage safety of others, especially when present at construction sites
- Performing calculations to ensure accuracy in systems design, capacity, and reduce material waste
- Other duties as assigned
- Interpreting blueprints, schematic drawings, specification, construction standards, layouts and job specific requirements
- Understanding and interpreting architectural and structural details as they affect the Plumbing installations
- A working knowledge AutoCad, Revit, NavisWorks and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Highly degree of knowlege with applicable Plumbing and Mechanical building codes and safety laws
