Intern, Assistant Video Editor - JR105998_47099288305_7-7698 at Stride, Inc in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description SUMMARY: As a Video Editing Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with various projects within the Marketing department at Stride. Essential functions may vary from organizing footage, creation graphics, motion graphics, creating transcripts, assembling rough cuts, resizing videos and editing short form content. This role will provide support for multiple K12-powered school websites and social media channels which include, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and Twitter. Your role will be to ensure that prospective parents are fully aware of and understand what K12-powered schools offer, thus supporting the company's overall enrollment goals. Demonstrates an understanding of the company's main business line: our management of 70+ online schools Creates and prepares various content and materials as assigned Executes tasks by utilizing various technologies and platforms specific to the business Provides additional marketing and ideation support to the team as needed Supports creating graphics and videos for Social Media Channels, submitting ideas for Snapchat, TikTok challenge videos, YouTube Content Creation and Strategy, and Facebook Live planning Organizes RAW video files and cut video assets in an accessible library. Provides suggestions on best practices for collecting user-generated content Assists the team with day-to-day administrative and operational duties, as assigned Assist with developing marketing materials as assigned by team Forge strong relationships with internal teams and external organizations Ensure thorough, timely and accurate communications Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Pursuing a higher degree or early career in Film and Television, specializing in editing and post-production management. A natural understanding of story, pacing, and ability to assemble rough cuts. Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (additional Adobe programs and editing software are a plus) Motion Graphics knowledge and proficiency creating branded titles is a plus Systematic organization methods and understanding of video file management best practices Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to build strong working relationships Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment Attention to detail and consistency in file naming and organization Excellent written and oral communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, meets deadlines consistently Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities to deliver and drive results High level of quality and accountability for work product Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity, and trust MS365; Web proficiency. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate this position will pay between $$15.14 - $24.22 per hour. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
