Our suite of energy products for grid-connected and off-grid applications performs a variety of high value functions for utilities, businesses, and residential customers. The energy products team is rapidly growing and is adding highly qualified members to the product, engineering, finance, and sales teams.
You will be a member of the Industrial Product Management team focusing on our B2B energy solutions: Powerpack & Megapack. As a member of the team, you will partner with the global Product Growth & Content team to edit, create, and deliver original video content to support Industrial Energy. You will edit Megapack content across product and site videos and lead post-production workflow from start to finish.
This is a unique opportunity to support the transition to sustainable energy through creative video storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable energy and have strong storytelling skills, a meticulous eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a creative mindset. Being self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is also essential to this role.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and editing a wide range of content across a variety of camera formats and distribution platforms
  • Owning the post-production workflow on multiple projects from start to finish - ingest, media manage, edit, motion graphics, color grade and delivery
  • Working closely with producers and stakeholders to address feedback and collaborating cross-functionally with other creatives
  • Bringing original content ideas that align with the Tesla brand and mission
  • Adhering to and optimizing our post-production workflow
  • Archiving, organizing, and managing digital assets in a cloud and local library
  • Creating short-form content for media campaigns across multiple social media platforms


Requirements
  • 4+ years of video editing experience in a full-time position in a corporate or agency environment
  • A deep technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro to ingest, media manage, edit, color grading and final delivery. Understanding of codecs, frame rate, resolution/compression, proxy & offline workflows
  • Proficiency using Adobe After Effects to create title animations, generate compositing, screen replacement, picture clean up, rotoscope, tracking etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Frame IO (or similar project management tool) is a plus
  • Experience with short and long form storytelling
  • Knowledge of captions and content localization for multiple markets
  • Agency experience and knowledge of advertising and media campaigns is preferred, but not required

    • Expected Compensation

      $80,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
