Your Opportunity:
This position is a full-time, in-person position reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible in shaping the visual identity of MyBambu. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design and the ability to create engaging, culturally relevant content in both (Spanish and English) languages. This role will focus on producing high-quality visuals that resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring brand consistency and effective communication across all channels. As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative designs for both digital and print platforms, contributing to the success of our marketing and branding strategies.
Job Responsibilities
- Design & Branding: Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all marketing materials, ensuring cultural and linguistic adaptability for English and Spanish-speaking audiences.
- Bilingual Content Creation: Design and produce engaging digital and print materials, such as social media posts, brochures, presentations, and infographics, in both English and Spanish.
- Localization: Adapt existing designs to fit cultural nuances and language requirements for Spanish-speaking markets.
- Illustration & Animation: Create custom illustrations, graphics, and animations that enhance the user experience and tell compelling stories across multiple platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer experience teams to conceptualize and execute creative projects that resonate with bilingual audiences.
- Digital Media: Design for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, and social media channels, ensuring high-quality visuals in both languages.
- Brand Evolution: Uphold brand guidelines while contributing to the continuous evolution of the brands visual identity to appeal to diverse audiences.
- Market Research: Stay informed about design trends in both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking markets to ensure culturally relevant and modern designs.
Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual Proficiency: Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to create high-quality, linguistically accurate designs in both languages.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy, with a sensitivity to cultural preferences in design.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro).
- Exceptional creativity, with an eye for detail and a focus on innovation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively to teams.
- Knowledge of fintech or banking industry design trends is a plus.
Job Requirements
- Must submit portfolio, or portfolio link with application.
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field, preferred.
- 3 (three) years of professional experience in graphic design, with experience creating bilingual designs.
- A strong portfolio showcasing bilingual projects, including branding, digital, and print materials.
- Experience designing for multicultural and bilingual audiences, particularly in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of fintech or banking industries is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
