Job Description
Role:
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Lead Designer and collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to develop compelling visuals that drive our brand forward. You'll be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging designs that resonate with our audience and communicate our value effectively. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating thoughtful, impactful, and innovative designs that support customer education and brand growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Lead Designer, Marketing, and Product teams to create design solutions that communicate Ownwell's brand message across all digital channels.
- Develop and execute creative assets including social media graphics, website visuals, email templates, direct mail letters, and ad designs that are on-brand and aligned with campaign goals.
- Work on marketing collateral, infographics, and presentations that simplify complex information from data studies and research around property tax and real estate market trends in areas we serve.
- Utilize AI tools like Midjourney, to speed up the process of asset creation.
- Use Adobe Suite to assist with video editing and animation.
- Ensure consistency in branding and visual standards across all touchpoints.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and software to continuously improve and innovate Ownwell's visual identity.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for upcoming GTM campaigns, product launches, and brand enhancements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a keen eye for aesthetics, with examples of digital marketing materials, social media assets, and branding projects.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in graphic design. Bonus if you have experience/interest in UI/UX design as well.
- Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other design tools. Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Creativity: Ability to simplify complex concepts into visually engaging graphics that educate and engage our audience.
- Bonus: If you are interested in UI/UX design and/or have experience in UI/UX.
- Bonus: If you know and/or are interested in learning about Video Editing, Animation and Prototype
