As a Graphic Designer, you'll develop easy to understand visual concepts that convey and present complex processes. You'll design and develop high-quality, professional graphics, photos, and other presentation materials for use in formal proposals, product brochures, marketing presentations, customer presentations, and/or operator and maintenance manuals, and training products.

Responsibilities:
* Designs and edits page layouts and graphic elements for print and website production; creates images, layout, color and design; reviews work to ensure adherence with brand and communications standards.
* Meets with clients to review project needs; gathers information and determines best approach for project design and production; collaborates with clients on ideas and concepts; prepares and implements recommended solutions.
* Provides graphic support and develops collateral and communication materials which may include promotional items, reports, brochures, newsletters, charts, posters, eblasts, handouts and presentations; ensures materials accurately reflect desired messaging and quality standards.
* Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on the coordination and implementation of graphic projects and print production; prepares, maintains and updates project status reports.
* Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Must-haves:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
* Extensive experience with graphics design application programs
* Advanced Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Software, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
* Thorough understanding of other Adobe Creative Cloud software
* Extensive portfolio exemplifying work
* Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
* Ability to work on-site minimum 50% of schedule
* Responsiveness to internal customers and ability to communicate cross-functionally with all levels of employees
* Lifetime learner with the drive and eagerness to learn new programs/industries and skills
* Designing and editing layout and graphics for print and website materials.
* Performing basic original research, compiling and assembling data.
* Organizing tasks, meeting deadlines and prioritizing competing demands.
* Identifying client needs and making recommendations related to assigned area.
* Providing attention to detail in assignments.
* Proofreading and error correction.
* Researching industry trends, solutions and best practices.
* Providing customer service.
* Utilizing a computer and relevant software applications.
* Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense (Civilian), NASA/Civil or commercial space and/or US Military, with an understanding of defense, aerospace, intelligence, and adjacent markets
* Experience with software application programs such as Adobe Creative Full Suite, Dreamweaver, Wordpress tools and Google Apps
* Exposure to web and print design, video/audio editing, 2D and/or 3D animation
* Experience in Marketing/advertising graphic design and multi-media
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
