Digital Asset Librarian - Product Content Marketing

About your role:
As a Digital Asset Librarian, you help manage our vast digital image library consisting of product, lifestyle, CAD images - and other media types. Your day-to-day includes the collection, organization, maintenance, delivery and safeguarding of digital image assets for a broad range of products including apparel, headwear, hardgoods, trading cards and memorabilia for all ages and fan bases. You possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. You advocate for best practices and challenge existing workflows when necessary. You help support the department as needed on any/all asset management workflows and tasks.

About your role:

Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategies for organizing and maintaining complex digital asset database
- Manage and enforce standards around imaging, metadata, taxonomy distribution workflows
- Monitor asset usage and implement governance policies to ensure compliance with confidentiality and licensing agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand usage requirements and ensure assets are both secure and easily accessible for consumption when necessary
- Train and support team members as needed on any/all asset management tasks
- Provide regular feedback and insights to Digital Asset Manager on defined responsibilities, projects and usage metrics
- Manage and track progress on assigned tasks through ticketing interface

- Have 3 to 5 years' experience working in digital asset management (preferred)
- Have proven success in digital asset management or library services, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
- Possess a strong understanding of image standards, metadata standards and digital asset taxonomy
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Are comfortable challenging existing workflows and advocating for improvements
- Possess outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Are proficient with Mac OS
- Are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel)
