Our client -- a respected healthcare entity in the payer space -- seeks a Business Process Consultant to lead work that enhances effectiveness of the organization at both the Sales and Marketing and Enterprise levels by linking business strategy to business process.
The overarching goal for this professional and their role is to contribute to structure, procedures, and templates within the department to enhance the value-add to the Sales and Marketing division.
This professional will work with department leadership and colleagues to continuously improve department offerings and share best practices of business process knowledge and tools. They will manage day-to-day and tactical aspects of projects, initiatives, and other ongoing business deliverables in accordance with business needs. They will also lead cross-functional teams to solve large, complex, and/or ambiguous business problems to drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous process improvement tools
Leading Business Process Improvement projects that includes the application of continuous process improvement skills and methodologies to articulate the problem, baseline current state, analyze root cause, recommend improvements, and monitor results.
The internal customers are all members of Sales & Marketing within our client's organization that could benefit from improved and more efficient processes and procedures that affect their day-to-day, client interaction, and more. These activities of the internal and external customers surround the sales intake process, third-party applications that related to sales & marketing behaviors and tracking, etc.
Due to healthcare legislation and reform, our client will have to change the way they sell, interact with customers/agents, the way they prospect new business and manage that business, etc.
By having better administrative and business processes in place, revenue could be created and cost savings could occur.
This division with our client's environment is very flexible. They live by the old adage that one should work very hard and play very hard.
If a candidate expects to be micro-managed and given direction on every single action item, this would not be a great fit.
However, if they desire to be a part of the healthcare arena, solve many various matters that could save the company costs and allow them to be more productive, this would be a great fit.
