Event Marketing Coordinator – (Remote)

Bonnier LLC, the leading outdoor adventure company, is seeking a full-time Event Marketing Coordinator. Supporting world-class events like the Open Season Sportsman’s Expos, Sand Sports Super Show, Off-Road Expo, and Street Machine Nationals, this position is a great opportunity to help drive marketing for both our audience and sales. The position is remote and is responsible for marketing our events to attendees, participants, sponsors and exhibitors. Must reside in CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, KY, MA, MN, NC, NY, OH, or WI.

Responsibilities:

Must be a self-starter with direct experience in event marketing, this role manages a wide range of marketing processes, events and highly visible presentations and projects. Working as a Marketing Coordinator requires performing a wide range of administrative and marketing support duties. Must have the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and work hand-in-hand with sales, operations and the members of the marketing team to reach spectators, participants, sponsors, and exhibitors, as per the following:

  • Develop and execute day-to-day marketing plans
  • Proactively plan and execute against marketing calendar for consistent on-time delivery
  • Execute and communicate programs for social, email and web, that sponsors and exhibitors can use to promote their involvement in our shows
  • Email campaign execution experience (required)
  • Continually update event websites and provide weekly website audit/changes reports
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments on the creation of presentations, marketing materials, media kits, web-based resources, and sponsorship development programs
  • Support onsite event marketing and promotions, and overall event operations
  • Graphic design skills and experience are a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in event marketing
  • Highly organized, resourceful, flexible, and adept at working independently and with teams
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Desire to be a team player — no task is too big or too small
  • Experience in WordPress and other website development tools is a must
  • Experience with Adobe CC and other marketing design tools
  • Experience in MS office suite with high proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Experience with social media campaign execution (FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Passion for the outdoors and or motorsports a plus
  • Travel required including working weekend events
