We are currently seeking a Marketing Manger to join our GFS Chemicals family. This position is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization, and will support numerous initiatives across multiple business units within GFS.
Requirements:
- Experience leading marketing teams required
- 5+ years of experience in marketing field
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred
- Digital marketing experience preferred
- Experience in chemical industry a plus
- Safety conscious with a respect for chemicals
- Oversee all marketing campaigns for the organization
- Implement marketing strategy for the organization by leading the marketing team in executing tactics to meet the strategy.
- Lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services that could extend and/or expand current offerings.
- Analyze data to evaluate the success/shortfalls of current marketing efforts and develop plan to improve effectiveness.
- Sharpen communication of GFS value proposition to customers, based on channel and product needs.
- Collaborate with internal staff as well as external service providers.
- Provide input to website design, content and e-commerce processes to improve customer experience - access to relevant information, communication of value proposition, offering
- Generate Marketing and Sales Leads from digital marketing campaigns, website traffic, trade shows, and other external inputs.
- Organize and execute activities associated with trade shows for all business units.
- Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, operations or customer service
- Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns
- Effective communication skills (listening, directing, conveying);

- Ability to read instructions, navigate and control an automation control system;

- Must "lead by example" and incorporate a "hands on" approach when necessary. Willing to get their hands dirty and participate in daily routines.
