Job Summary:

Cornerstone AV has an opening for a Marketing Manager. The main responsibilities of this role are to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our products and services, generating new opportunities. Reporting directly to Sales Leadership, the ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing, particularly within the live events industry.

Reporting: The candidate will report to the Sales Director at Cornerstone AV.

Work Schedule: The candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule that might include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Location: Work location is in person in American Fork, Utah, with occasional travel.

Job Functions:

  • Marketing Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with the Sales Director and Creative Director to develop a cohesive and effective marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Content Planning and Calendar Management:
    • Develop a content plan that encompasses various channels, including social media, email, website, and other relevant platforms.
    • Create a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging messaging leading up to and during live events.
    • Provide creative input and support for the development of marketing collateral.
    • Plan and manage the creation of industry-leading White Papers to be published and used for generating leads.
    • Plan and manage Webinar events to generate leads.
  • Outbound Email Campaigns:
    • Design and execute targeted email campaigns to drive attendance, engagement, and interest in our events.
    • Manage email lists, segmentation, and automation to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics tools to measure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Regularly report on key performance indicators and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
    • Support and manage the CRM and all leads through our different channels.
    • Have a working knowledge of HubSpot Sales and Marketing tools.
  • Tradeshow and Events Support:
    • Plan and execute marketing activities specifically tailored to support our presence at tradeshows and events where we exhibit.
    • Develop pre-event and post-event marketing strategies to maximize exposure and generate new business opportunities.
  • Brand Management:
    • Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing materials and communications.
    • Uphold and enhance the company's brand image in the market.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to achieve maximum ROI.
    • Provide financial reports and projections as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and email marketing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools and platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in the event industry is a bonus.
