MARKETING COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Content Planning & Execution
Ensure national marketing programs are properly implemented in assigned restaurants, act as representative to restaurant to provide additional communication or follow-up regarding national programs
Manage all collateral needs for the restaurants including menus.
Collaborate with operations, IT and other cross functional departments as necessary
Develop and execute sponsorships and promotions to build brand awareness/sales at restaurants
Communicate promotions, special events and other local marketing opportunities to all partners
Attend networking and community events
Develop/execute measurable Local Store Marketing programs
Secure and coordinate food-sampling opportunities
Work with agency partners to develop, execute and manage local, national and social media calendars
Requirements:
Media Planning & Execution
Coordinate traffic of materials and media (Radio, TV, Print, etc.) to support limited time offers and other national and local promotions
Assist with creative development including feedback, kickoff, creative brief process and scheduling
Manage social media sites, create engaging posts and content to drive fan base and consumer engagement
Sales & Analysis
Monitor trends and report findings to senior management including competitor pricing/promotions, product sales mix, sales and transactions
Analysis of email marketing and loyalty campaigns, while making recommendations for improvement
Technology
Handle the creative design, delivery, customer list creation and segmentation, personalization and messaging, scheduling, analytics and test-and-learn strategies for all email and loyalty marketing communications
Manage on-line ordering program and ensure proper implementation of program at the field level
Develop and maintain plans and timelines for all email, loyalty and social deployment growth initiatives
Field Visits
Coordinate marketing efforts of new store openings
Tour restaurants at monthly; ensure marketing materials are properly displayed
Educate field on marketing best practices and proper local restaurant marketing execution
Competitive Research
Research competitive landscape for activities related to local and/or national programs, LSM, fundraisers, etc. and provide updates as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with restaurant and marketing operations desired
Graphic Artist ability preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong writing, editing, communication and people skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Four-year degree preferred; work experience may substitute for degree
Motivated individual with positive, up-beat attitude
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Must be flexible and able to work some nights and weekends
Works well under pressure
Proactive self-starter with desire to learn, grow and be challenged
Adheres to and promotes company values and policies and displays a strong ethical character capable of handling confidential information
