Marketing Coordinator

This fast-paced position focuses on delivering creative, cohesive, and effective marketing strategies across multiple platforms while keeping our brand at the forefront of the industry. Key responsibilities include copywriting, developing engaging newsletters, and updating website content to captivate and inform our audience.
EssentialResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop email marketing campaigns that align with resort goals.
- Develop targeted newsletter campaigns, and maintain automated campaigns, identifying key audiences and analyzing performance metrics.
- Execute marketing campaigns across channels, including newsletters, websites, blogs, social media, and paid advertising.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and basic SEO optimization.
- Create compelling copy for webpages, blog posts, and event listings to engage and inform audiences.
- Share weather updates to website and social media
- Assist with planning resort events and overseeing community donation and media requests.
- Stay current with marketing trends and analyze campaign, social media, and sales data to inform decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement big-picture strategies and goals.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall success of the resort.
Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, over one year of experience in a marketing role will also be considered.
- Strong copywriting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, SEO basics, and content creation.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud CC
- Basic understanding of WordPress and other marketing platforms preferred
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics
- Hardworking and eager to learn
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms
- An ability and love for skiing and snowboarding, passion for outdoor industry
