As the Marketing Manager, you'll be the driving force behind shaping and amplifying The Westin Tempe's distinctive brand identity. Collaborate with an innovative team to deliver compelling campaigns, enhance brand visibility, and attract a diverse audience of global travelers and local patrons through strategic marketing initiatives.
What you'll own:
- Brand Strategy: Define and execute marketing strategies that position The Westin Tempe as the premier luxury destination in downtown Tempe.
- Creative Campaigns: Develop and oversee engaging digital, social, and traditional marketing campaigns to share the hotel's story and vibrant energy.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Build relationships with creative agencies, social media influencers, and PR teams to enhance visibility and elevate the guest experience.
- Revenue Generation: Partner with sales and revenue management teams to create targeted strategies driving bookings, dining reservations, and event attendance.
- On-Property Activations: Work closely with the food and beverage teams to design innovative programming and events that resonate with Tempe's energetic and diverse audience.
Here's what you will be doing each day:
- Propose and implement property specific marketing and PR strategies in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager.
- Create advertising and promotional programs and graphics for the hotel and all outlets.
- Collaborate with DOSM and/or GM to create and maintain marketing budgets.
- Collaborate with the sales and revenue team to identify opportunities and trends that need on and offline strategies.
- Lead creative agency and partner management for social media, PR, organic/paid social.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining hotel branded collateral.
- Responsible for brand voice pull through with the highest level of accuracy to property for all written and verbal front and back of house communication, including all digital assets.
- Drive an overarching digital marketing strategy with Crescent Marketing support team.
- Build direct marketing plans and targeted campaigns to drive brand awareness for the overall hotel, key market segmentations and outlets.
- Lead and direct hotel asset development, including hotel and outlet collateral, photoshoots, etc.
- Manage creative direction of all hotel and outlet digital and marketing assets.
- Work with the Food and Beverage team to identify opportunities and trends to implement promotional strategy to drive outlet revenue.
- Curate unique programming in coordination with hotel operations that are distinct to each outlet.
- Present a positive company image through all phases of public and/or customer interaction.
- Manage the property's hotel and outlet websites and online listings including menus, ensure optimization for search engine PPC.
- Optimize internet specials and other promotions for maximum sales.
- Manage the restaurant's websites and online listings (this includes working with property departments to ensure web sections are accurate)
- Manage OpenTable listing and lead OpenTable promotions.
- Coordinate e-mail capture programs in all outlets and create and implement e-mail campaigns.
- Facilitate the tracking and reporting of all marketing expenditures.
- Manage various ancillary websites and online listings (this includes working with property departments to ensure web sections are accurate)
- Work closely with social media influencers to drive awareness and revenue
