Purpose of the Position:
glassybaby is continuing to grow, and with that growth comes the need for a new team member to continue to evolve the brand along with our talented team. We're looking for a leader who can communicate, amplify, and grow our present in the world in a compelling and powerful way. the Marketing Director will own all our marketing initiatives - from setting strategy, building, and managing a team, overseeing vendors and partners, driving effective promotional and branding campaigns, capitalizing on offline and online selling synergies, overseeing the company's web and social media presences In addition to driving growth, brand awareness, and revenue, they will provide strategic vision and leadership to ensure a unified and engaging customer experience across our multi-channel organization.
Requirements
Primary Duties
- Assist in analyzing marketing data to help shape and create future marketing strategies. individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.
- Closely engage with all revenue channels to ensure that appropriate and explicit planning is in place to achieve planned targets.
- Strategic planning all marketing strategies while working with a dynamic creative team, social media, AI technology and project manager
- Assist team by setting timelines, goals, meeting project deadlines and reviewing results. Adjusting strategy when needed.
- Engage new technologies - AI integration into the Marketing platform.
- Maintain business development materials that will enable glassybaby to continue to find new nonprofit partners that tie to our mission in new markets
- Continually leverage existing partner relationships to maximize sales & brand awareness (for monthly online sales, in store relationships and proactive gift giving occasions)
- Lead and drive each of the marketing functional areas to develop innovative, cost-conscious strategies that drive traffic, sales and company/ brand awareness.
- Implement successful marketing strategies across all channels and new and existing regions and oversee all associated execution efforts.
- Leverage market research & data analytics to drive customer segmentation and insights.
- Develop programs to capitalize on market opportunities, increase sales and giving, and deepen customer/partner relationships.
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget and calendar.
- Manage outside media agencies and service providers as needed.
- Help drive and promote the glassybaby culture and ensure a positive work environment.

- Successfully implement marketing campaigns as laid out by the marketing team.
- Increase social media presence and followers while maintaining the glassybaby brand standards.
- Effectively manage internal and external resources to deliver the highest quality deliverables while staying within budget.
- Meet or exceed annual web sales goals.
- Able to work as a proactive, supportive, self-directed team member, upholding a positive attitude and setting a good example at all times.
- Experience driving marketing strategies across offline and online retail sites.
- Proven success with innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today's marketing ecosystem (seo, sem, email, social, blogs, content, etc.)
- Problem solver and effective collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
- Be able to multi-task
- Well-connected within the marketing industry
- Leader with strong strategic and financial acumen that can take our organization to the next level.
- bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline or experience
- master's degree in marketing is a nice to have.
- 6 years of marketing experience and leading a team
- 10+ years in a brand leadership role
- Ability to regularly lift-up to 35 pounds and rarely lift to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Must be able to work in conditions that are impacted by weather and climate.
- Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct conversations.
- Vision abilities are critical and include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to work in an environment where noise level is usually moderate.
- Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; must be able to frequently reach with hands and arms; below, at and above the waistline
