The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the production and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions across multiple disciplines including social media, sales marketing, events and digital campaigns.
What You Will Be Doing:
Digital Campaigns
- Plans, coordinates and produces Amazon A+ page creation and updates for all PRPG books.
- Develops plan and produces imprint branded stores on Amazon.com to support social promotions, seasonal Amazon discounts and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinates and produces "From the Brand" imprint carousels for all PRPG product pages.
- Tracks and optimizes sales, including CPC, ROAS, Net profit.
- Work closely with licensors to ensure all PRPG titles are represented on licensor Amazon pages including: Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, MoonBug, Disney, Bob Ross, BBC and Netflix.
Social Media
- Develop and post social media content across all designated social channels for PRPG imprints including Studio Fun International and Thunder Bay Press.
- Develop social marketing campaigns in coordination with publicity, trade marketing, and email marketing plans, including coordination of social and email marketing for optimum results.
- Develop influencer program across imprints, including research, engagement and relationship development for maximum results on both individual titles and series/imprint efforts.
- Develop relationships with franchisor colleagues, optimizing for maximum results on social content partnership.
- Ideate innovative approaches to social marketing, analyzing fast-moving trends to maintain and improve relevance in crowded social media landscape.
- Develop expertise on new social media technologies, including platforms and supporting tech to evolve strategy and improve performance.
- Understand, monitor and optimize all social media KPIs. Develop and maintain social media monthly reporting.
- Monitor and engage with all social media content and customer UGC.
- Establish relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media.
- Report monthly and quarterly KPIs, as well as communicate big wins for each imprint.
Trade Shows
- Work with Sr. Marketing Manager to coordinate PRPG's presence at trade shows including producing signage, premiums and other marketing collateral.
- Coordinate lead retrieval when needed and develop and schedule marketing follow-up campaign(s).
- Coordinate each imprint's efforts on samples and supplies for shipping to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
- A minimum of one (1) year in the publishing industry is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) is preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms is preferred.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team-oriented, hardworking, open-minded, and flexible.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
- Ability to create and write reports.
- Strong project management skills: ability to identify and assess issues and make decisions in a timely manner.
