Responsibilities:

The national geography marketing associate is primarily responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of marketing strategies and go-to-market campaigns throughout or geographic footprint. They will help execute a wide range of marketing tactics and initiatives, including branding, targeted demand generation campaigns, sponsorships, events, local speaking engagements, e-mail marketing and internal communications. Projects may include assisting with online research, writing, editing, formatting and light graphic design of promotional content, sales collateral, advertising and presentations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with sponsorships, events and local speaking engagements
Provide leadership and coordination on geographic sponsorships and events in collaboration with go-to-market team members.
Assist supervisor and other marketing colleagues in developing and maintaining up-to-date content and case studies to communicate firm offerings in the market.
Assist with public relations article placement opportunities. Assist with the generation of thought leadership and story ideas.
Follow processes and best practices to enable the tracking of marketing return on investment.
Collaborate with colleagues as appropriate to plan and execute sponsorship and event deliverables.
Utilize marketing department shared resources as appropriate to help execute initiatives.
Participate in planning, project-specific, and team meetings, as necessary.
Ensure alignment with marketing strategy, positioning and messaging in industry, service or other content developed
Ensure compliance with firm guidelines and brand standards.

2. Collaborate on the execution of go-to-market plans nationwide
Provide assistance for a wide range of marketing tactics and revenue growth initiatives to help execute go-to-market plans such as: demand generation and nurturing campaigns, thought leadership, webinars, videos, sponsorships, special events, seminars, trade show exhibits, advertising and communications.
Assist with public relations opportunities. Maintain up-to-date list of targeted industry or service-specific media contacts. Help generate thought leadership and story ideas, monitor competitive news and develop specialized strategies for communicating other events.
Assist marketing team in maintaining current and up-to-date industry and service line marketing tools and templates used throughout our national geographies.
Develop and execute social media best practices throughout geography.
Collaborate with public relations to share firm news and content through local channels.
Execute local nomination and award applications and share throughout market.
Follow processes and best practices to enable the tracking of marketing return on investment.
Collaborate with colleagues as appropriate to plan and execute work.
Utilize marketing department shared resources as appropriate to help execute initiatives.
Participate in planning, project-specific, and team meetings, as necessary.
Ensure compliance with firm guidelines and brand standards.

3. Perform research and other marketing support as needed
Assist in conducting online research of specific market characteristics and competitor data.
Use internal and external research as needed when executing work
Participate in marketing best practice task forces and special projects

4. Maintain and expand knowledge base in a variety of marketing areas
Continuously expand knowledge base in assigned specialized industries, services and/or geographic markets.
Integrate new knowledge, skills, and best practices into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate



Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years marketing experience, professional services environment preferred
  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Salesforce.com, business-related social media, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Proficient project management skills and the flexibility to prioritize multiple project requests simultaneously in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff from entry level to partners and work well in a team-focused environment. High level of attention to detail.
  • Previous professional services experience or marketing internship, preferred.


Additional Information:

The compensation range for this role is $50,780 to $110,030. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
