About Us
Velocity produces "restomod" restorations where classic vehicles are upgraded with modern parts, drivetrain, and technology making them functionally new while maintaining an original or vintage aesthetic. The company has pioneered a custom classic vehicle renovation via an assembly line process, ensuring a high level of quality control, with a known price, and significantly decreased build time. We have a talented team of 130+ employees and a 135,000 square foot facility in Cantonment, Florida where we are continuing to add additional production lines and new vehicle offerings.
Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing marketing strategies to drive sales and promote Velocity's vehicles and parts sales. This individual will collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing and the sales team to create compelling campaigns, manage digital and traditional marketing efforts, and ensure brand consistency. The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in generating leads, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue goals.

Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Management:
- Support the VP of Marketing to develop and implement omni-channel marketing campaigns to promote Velocity's vehicles and parts sales, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Manage digital agency, to ensure the company's online presence - SEO strategies, and paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) are meeting their metrics, demonstrating competency and driving sales. Additionally, ensure that they are adequately managing website health, making recommendations and actioning on UX/UI updates as needed.
- Oversee Social Media Strategist to ensure all social platforms are functioning to engage with audiences in a regular and timely manner, promote the brand, individual products, and drive leads.
- Oversee Email Marketing Strategist to ensure layered promotional campaigns, newsletters, and nurture campaigns drive strong consumer engagement and lead promotion through to sale.
- Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to track customer interactions and nurture leads.
- Plan and coordinate events, including trade shows, car shows, and community outreach programs, to increase brand exposure, generate leads, and engage potential customers.
- Represent the company at events, interacting with attendees and showcasing vehicles.
- Using available software, perform market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Use insights to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Track and report on key marketing metrics, including ROI, lead generation, and audience engagement.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
- Collaborate with the Creation Director to provide marketing content as required
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, values, and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, lead generation strategies, and digital platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
- Experience working with sales teams to drive revenue-focused marketing efforts.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Occasional standing or walking within the office or shop, such as attending meetings, retrieving documents, or interacting with customers or employees.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying items, typically weighing up to 10-20 pounds.
- Frequent use of fingers and hands for typing, writing, and operating a computer.
- Using telephones, printers, copiers, and other office tools.
- Frequent need to focus on printed or digital material.
- Reviewing financial documents, schedules, or customer data with accuracy.
- Regular communication with customers, vendors, and team members, either in person, on the phone, or via video conferencing.
- Engaging with customers in person or over the phone, sometimes requiring extended periods of active listening and problem-solving.
- Prolonged exposure to hot or cold temperatures.
- Mild noise from office machines or nearby shop areas if the office is adjacent to the workshop. PPE may be required while walking through the shop.
- Moving around the office or between departments, sometimes requiring the ability to climb stairs.
