Position Overview

BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking a qualified candidate to provide marketing support and develop/execute on plans that help build brand awareness and help franchisees build strong businesses across some of our Ann Arbor-based franchise brands. This talented individual will not only engage in and support a wide range of online and offline marketing/communication activities, but also oversee projects and initiatives that drive our brands forward and expand our franchise networks.

RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW:

The BELFOR Franchise Group Marketing Coordinator will need to stay informed about relevant markets, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans that benefit franchisees. Day to day this person may create or coordinate content, coordinate internal and external communications, as well as support all marketing and brand management teams and initiatives. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment, be extremely task-oriented and organized; and be a strong communicator.

  • Develop network communication through regular and ongoing email, social media, webinars and other channels
  • Help franchise owners be successful in their businesses
  • Implement national and local marketing plans as directed, guide ongoing development and execution of each of the plan’s components
  • Plan, create and host ongoing monthly events such as webinars, in-person training classes and other online gatherings
  • Assist with improvements and updates to brand’s websites and related projects such as videos
  • Write and edit content for social media, PR and other marketing initiatives
  • Manage and maintain the franchisee intranet site, including content creation
  • Assist with branded apparel and promotional items when necessary
  • Communicate with franchisees and marketing team members about project, event or campaign expectations and goals
  • Conduct analyses on performance of marketing programs
  • Work with the team on executing marketing tasks within the
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department, Brand operations teams and vendors to coordinate plans for both national and local use that reflect the company culture, marketing goals and brand messaging
  • Oversee the delivery of projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure they are delivered to specifications and high standards
  • Work cross functionally with multiple departments and support new projects/opportunities as they arise throughout the year
  • Assist with the BELFOR Franchise Group Annual Convention
  • Promote all BELFOR Franchise Group brands internally and externally
  • Assist with development of national marketing plans, including advertising events and charitable partnerships
  • Provide start-up support to new franchise owners
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be driven, curious, self-motivated, analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong writer/communicator who is highly efficient/productive and takes initiative. The candidate will also be excited about and motivated by the opportunity to help entrepreneurs realize their dream of being business owners and to help make major contributions to their businesses. Must possess strong organizational skills and be an effective communicator. Other key competencies include:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications, or equivalent experience
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or other marketing or related role
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft and Google products including, but not limited to Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and G-Suite products
  • Some Digital Marketing experience required
  • Strong internet knowledge/skills, including social media
  • Commitment to ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and in a high quality manner that meet or exceed expectations
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines and to quickly develop clear priorities
  • Possess strategic thinking and strong executional skills, and is a resourceful, creative problem-solver
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to work and communicate clearly with fellow employees, third- party providers, franchisees, and partners
  • Analytical, detail-oriented to ensure all specifications are met
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks, often across multiple projects, at once
  • Ability to adapt easily to shifting projects and priorities
  • Some administrative/organizational work required
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fast-paced office environment where temperature, ventilation and lighting are controlled
  • Moderate noise level
  • In-office work environment M-F (Ann Arbor)
  • Regular use of cell phone, computer and other office equipment
  • Communication with franchisees (outbound and inbound)
  • Constant feedback environment where associates must be open to constructive feedback from multiple sources
