Position Summary

Reporting to the assistant vice president of communications and marketing, the Communications and Marketing Office seeks a talented and versatile marketing professional to serve the critical needs of Trinity College. The successful candidate will learn and embody the brand of the College, instilling consistency in style and messaging across projects that support admissions, advancement, academics, and other areas. This person will develop and execute marketing campaigns that effectively engage constituent groups including prospective students and parents, current students and families, and alumni and donors. Their work will require knowledge of running multi-channel campaigns that encompass print, social media, digital communications, in-person engagement, and other collateral. This person works with the project management lead to ensure that projects are tracked effectively and completed on time and budget. This role operates as a cross-departmental manager, ensuring that campus programs are supported with data-driven decision-making and strategies that will strengthen constituent engagement.

This is a highly collaborative position that requires skills in building relationships, instilling trust, and delivering projects with a high degree of creativity, integrity, and skill. Copywriting and a portfolio of work is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

5-8 Years of Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels, especially print, digital, and in-person experience.
  • Exceptional communication and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency. Must be able to copywrite and develop new marketing pieces.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and display advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse campus partners.
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced and stressful environments with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional code of ethics.
  • Exceptional human relations/customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Exceptional communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Schedule and coordinate work and activities of others.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with leadership, faculty, staff and external stakeholders/constituencies.
  • Skilled in public speaking and/or making presentations.
  • Previous experience in enrollment, fundraising, storytelling, digital content, or other forms of communications is highly preferred.
