Marketing Coordinator
THE ROLE:
The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator position is to support the NA Marketing Department with the identification, development, and execution of Field and Channel Marketing event strategies based on the organization's goals and objectives, brand efforts, and budget for IGEL Technologies.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida (hybrid)
Average 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Research suitable venue options for regional events per event type and budget, obtain quotes, and create preliminary budget comparisons for review and selection.
- Track event logistics to ensure deadlines are obtained (registration, sponsorship commitments, booth items, giveaways, shipping and receiving, etc.).
- Research and request quotes for sponsorship and conference opportunities.
- Assist in facilitating lead gathering, upload, and reporting of marketing lists/event leads for sales follow-up.
- Participate in pre-event meetings and event debriefs.
- Supports events on-site as needed per request and approval.
- Assists in the setup of marketing automated (Act-On and Outreach.io) campaigns, eblast and event landing page creation, and webinar scheduling.
- Submit event and sponsorship documentation to finance for PO generation and invoice payment.
- Assist in creation and editing of copy for event landing pages and eblasts.
- Track event and webinar registrations and send updates to internal team and partners.
- 3+ years experience in marketing or event management with the desire to learn more about Field and Channel Marketing.
- Organized and efficient, able to develop and execute against a clear plan.
- Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player with ability to be a self-starter.
- Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup.
- Occasional domestic travel to support events - less than 20%.
- A willingness to think outside the box and bring new and innovative ideas to the marketing department.
- Ability to remain open-minded, flexible, and perform a wide variety of tasks; can change focus quickly, manage transitions effectively, and adapt to varying departmental needs.
- Desire to support team members in a way that is detail oriented and accurate.
- Focus on constant improvement and learning; embraces new processes and project direction while maintaining flexibility.
- Ability to work with limited supervision in a highly collaborative environment.
