Hangout Hospitality has an opening for a Marketing Generalist. For this position, candidates will need to have a high school diploma and at least one year of marketing experience, a college degree is preferred.

This job is on-site, paid hourly in the Gulf Shores Area.

You will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining digital and print content for a portfolio of restaurants in the area. For each listing, you will create media content on a regular basis to keep our audience engaged during their visits.

  • Escalation of items you are unable to answer
  • Ability to create/ update a FAQ for reference
  • Ability to match tone and content to established brands
Duties:
  • Write clear and engaging copy for social media
  • Collaborate with the creative marketing team to create content that aligns with the company's branding and messaging
  • Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
  • Optimize content for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing
  • Ability to edit documents and menus
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience (e.g. past Instagram, TikTok or FB posts) as a Content Creator or similar role
  • Excellent writing, communication, and editing skills in English
  • Strong research skills in gathering relevant information from reliable sources
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and techniques
  • Proficiency in video and photo editing software is a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Duties:
  • Interact with customers by text-based communication: email, and other written forms of communication
  • Use proprietary software to create customer-facing communications
  • Provide amazing customer service and quick turn around of requests
  • Occasionally Taking Photos at events
  • Update Project management software with notes

  • Communication with the team to provide a better guest experience
