Keiter, a leading accounting and consulting services firm in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the Firm's growth and marketing communication strategies. This dynamic role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative, innovative environment. The Marketing Coordinator will help to build on the momentum of the Firm's marketing efforts by contributing to a wide range of marketing functions, including event planning, business communications, CRM, branding, digital, and social media. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can contribute to existing programs while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with our firm and client service goals.

Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:

Skills and Experience

  • You like to write and proofread!

    • Demonstrated experience in writing clear, organized, and effective business communications for print, digital and social media platforms.
    • Ability to engage different audiences in the appropriate brand voice.
    • Attention to the details, specifically ensuring the proper use of grammar and punctuation.
    • Able to review and edit other team members' content for clarity, conciseness, grammar, and punctuation.

  • You enjoy attending and planning a variety of events.

    • Event planning experience to include, planning, communications, on-site support, and virtual event production
    • Ability to occasionally travel to offsite events around Virginia.

  • You can leverage research and data to support marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to meet time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across teams and departments within the Firm
  • Ability to own a project and see it to the finish line with minimal supervision

  • Business acumen and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Education

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel)

You might also have:

  • Experience with CRM data entry and maintenance for external communications
  • Skills to analyze data to determine engagement and success of external communications and social media posts
  • Experience with maintaining a Communications and Social Media calendar
  • Working knowledge of Glassdoor/Indeed, WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, and/or Adobe software products (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Graphic design skills
