The Marketing Specialist supports the Sales Division by managing the advertising and marketing budget, overseeing the concept, development, and placement of digital and print media in national, regional, and local industry publications. This role coordinates national meetings and industry exhibits, maintains all literature and website content, and serves as the administrator for the website, social media accounts, and SalesForce CRM. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist assists in the coordination, development, and training of Sales Representatives and Engineers, conducts market research, and prepares reports for management. The position also involves coordinating customer visits, managing office operations, and performing other tasks as directed to support management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must exhibit a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other related curriculum from an accredited four-year college or university. Proof of degree required. A transcript or diploma would be acceptable and must be provided.
  • Must exhibit advanced knowledge in the use of word processing, spreadsheet database software such as Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Must exhibit the ability to become proficient at developing advertisements, literature, flyers, manuals, basic workflows, analyze data from cloud-based applications, and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Must exhibit the ability to provide effective presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Must exhibit the ability to perform advanced searches utilizing the internet and edit basic content on website platforms.
  • Must exhibit good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must exhibit the ability to train other users on the Marketing and Sales software systems and serve as IT related liaison for equipment and software applications.
  • Must be available for work during off hours and overnight travel, subject to need.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of product lines and markets and competitive product lines and markets.
  • Experience with relational databases, ERP Systems (JDE, ASI, etc.), etc.
  • Prior experience in site selection and the coordination of national meetings, coordinating industry exhibits, display selection and/or organization of booths.
  • Five or more years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • Prior experience developing and/or managing the development of advertising, sales presentations, product literature and web content, as well as social media posts.
  • Prior experience working with CRM marketing tools such as SalesForce.
