We walk with our brands every step of the way from brand/campaign development and creative execution to a brand/campaigns launch, including all aspects of production and data reporting.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Media Strategist / Planner to join our team on a contact, part-time basis, with the opportunity to become full-time after contract period commences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive media strategy to elevate our client’s brand presence and drive meaningful engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and execution, with expertise in digital, social, local, and PR campaigns. They will play a pivotal role in researching, analyzing, and recommending the optimal media mix to maximize impact and ROI while ensuring alignment with the overarching brand strategy.
OVERVIEW OF EXPECTATIONS:
Deliver data-driven media strategy recommendations aligned with campaign objectives.
Effectively manage campaign budgets, maintaining an optimal media mix.
Proactively identify opportunities for optimization through performance metrics and testing.
Serve as a thought leader in the evolving landscape of media channels and audience behavior.
Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality campaigns across platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a customized, comprehensive media strategy that meets clients’ business and marketing objectives, ensuring alignment with internal brand positioning strategies and distribution goals.
Design and oversee the media plan, with an anticipated mix:
Digital: Search engines, healthcare websites, YouTube, OTT platforms.
Social Media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.
Local Media: Local news websites, newspapers, lifestyle magazines, radio stations, billboards, transit advertising.
PR: Press releases, community health events.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to determine the most effective media strategies and present recommendations to stakeholders for approval.
Collaborate with project managers and creative teams, as needed, to guide the development of assets to meet the specifications of each platform.
Pilot, refine and report on strategies through:
A/B testing and public sentiment analysis.
Campaign measurement, evaluating ad performance, engagement, reach, impressions, site traffic, audience growth, and content effectiveness.
Media recommendations based on performance insights.
Provide editorial services to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across media channels.
Act as a liaison between internal teams and external media vendors, ensuring smooth execution and optimization of campaigns.
Collaborate with the Operations team to evaluate and implement optimal media planning and tracking tools, streamlining operations and improving campaign measurement accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field OR
5+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and execution for an agency and/or national campaigns, with a focus on integrated campaigns.
Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, paid and earned media channels, and PR strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication skills to present strategies and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Experience in healthcare or community-focused campaigns is a plus.
