JOB SUMMARY: The Paid Media Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover optimization and test and learn ideas related to our Paid Media campaigns across all media channels. Insights developed by the Paid Media Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing NCL's advertising strategies, such as generating demand, driving brand awareness, increasing driving traffic to site, and capturing high quality leads. Will work closely with external agency partners and cross-functional teams across Marketing (including Analytics, Creative, and Web).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and organize data from various paid media platforms, including but not limited to SA360, DV360, CM360, Meta, Tik Tok and Pinterest.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance metrics, across all areas of the funnel.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to provide actionable insights.
- In collaboration with the NCL Marketing Analytics team, the Paid Media Analyst will generate regular and ad-hoc reports to communicate key performance indicators and metrics to stakeholders.
- Help develop dashboards and visualizations to present data in an easily understandable format.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing Analytics, Creative, and Web, to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with the paid media team and Agency of Record to identify areas for campaign optimization.
- Maintain communication with Agency of Record, to help improve ad targeting, creative elements, and budget management.
- Coordinate A/B testing and other experimentation opportunities to enhance campaign performance.
- Manage and own the weekly agency reports, to ensure data accuracy, as well as gather feedback which will be communicated with the Agency team.
- Work with Agency to establish timelines for campaign reporting and pacing.
- Manage competitive research - Staying abreast of the North America advertising landscape including data, product updates and content innovation, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Work integrally with all internal team members to facilitate the process of developing great work.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; and or any equivalent combination of relevant work and education experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of advertising agency or related experience in advertising campaign strategy - digital experience preferred.
- Experience working with Data and Analytics teams.
- Experience in analyzing campaign performance across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, TV, Radio, and OOH.
- Tableau and Adobe Analytics experience is required.
- Experience with media platforms such as: SA360, DV360, CM360, Meta, Tik Tok and Pinterest, is required.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Understanding of the customer journey funnel, and KPIs associated with each respective area of the funnel.
- Ability to move quickly and prioritize based on business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with cross channel teams and vendors.
- Developed skills in research and analysis is a must.
- Proactive learner and self-starter, able to independently navigate and execute.
- Meticulously organized with experience managing and maintaining project timelines.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Ability to stay up to date on latest platform updates and technologies.
- Requires foundational knowledge in advertising/media campaign development and performance tactics across traditional and digital channels
