Who we are:

An integrated cross-cultural marketing agency. We reflect and embrace the cultural diversity of America to develop meaningful marketing programs that drive measurable conversions.

We opened our doors in 1998 (as Focus Multimedia). We got our start building websites and have expanded into a full-service advertising agency, helping our clients take advantage of the fundamental changes taking place in the marketing world - the emergence of digital technologies, expanded multiculturalism, and the transformative impact of social media.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager who lives and breathes all things social! This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative social strategies, lead content creation, analyze performance metrics, and engage our audiences with a sharp understanding of internet and pop culture trends.

What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with monthly and quarterly brand goals.
  • Oversee the creation of content calendars and ensure consistent, on-brand messaging and visual storytelling across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Lead content development: write compelling, platform-specific copy and produce or collaborate on creative assets (graphics, video content, influencer posts).
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including publishing, scheduling, and real-time audience engagement (responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries).
  • Manage social media coordinators and interns supporting you across accounts.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance through analytics tools (Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.) and produce insightful performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for community growth by implementing strategies to increase followers, engagement rates, and platform reach.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams, influencers, and brand partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, and internet culture to inform content strategies that resonate with our target audiences, including Gen Z and multicultural spaces.
  • Support integrated marketing initiatives, including sales-driving campaigns, influencer activations, and product launches.
  • Oversee editorial alignment to ensure all social messaging supports overarching marketing objectives and brand voice.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
What you'll bring along:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience managing social media platforms and campaigns; prior agency or brand experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms, including platform-specific nuances, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Airtable, Hootsuite) and performance analytics.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms.
  • Creative thinker with experience in content ideation, execution, and graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate performance metrics into strategy adjustments.
  • Comfortable managing influencer collaborations and partnerships.
  • Passion for pop culture, internet trends, multicultural marketing, and the way digital media impacts lives.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • "Not me getting paid to write like I do online" energy-understanding the nuances of digital communication, from memes to emojis.
  • A curious, analytical mindset with a love for organizing data and building neat Excel sheets.
About You:
  • You're a strategic thinker with a creative edge-comfortable brainstorming big ideas and rolling up your sleeves to execute them.
  • You get a rush from creating engaging campaigns that connect brands to their audiences in a meaningful way.
  • You're tapped into both highbrow and lowbrow culture-whether it's reading The New Yorker or scrolling the latest Twitter gossip.
  • You understand the subtle but critical difference between
