QUALIFICATIONS
POSITION SUMMARY
Primary day-to-day media planning lead on designated account(s). Strong proficiencies across all media channels. This role offers daily client contact, ownership of the media plan, and the opportunity to lead cross-media integration with the internal team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee the progress of all projects including Go-To-Markets documents, Comms Frameworks, Consumer Journeys, Media Landscapes, etc., and assist the team to make sure deadlines are met and ensure high-quality output.
- Demonstrate an intimate understanding of how consumers interact with channels and technology.
- Monitor and ensure that communication plans are steeped in consumer insight and deliver accelerated client growth, through collaboration with the business intelligence team.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the client business and competitive landscape.
- Help design, roll out, and manage the implementation of processes, templates, and timelines for all marketing campaigns.
- Developing strong internal and external partner relationships
- Understands clients’ marketing objectives and develops a proactive approach to providing strategic media recommendations to deliver against outlined objectives.
- Effectively write, discuss, and present persuasive media plans/recommendations to clients and agency personnel.
- Strong ability to interpret campaign metrics and analytics and turn insights into actionable optimizations.
- Participates in decision-making and problem-solving communication. Accountable for providing feedback to Sr. staff regarding guidance, support, and solutions.
- Provide mentorship to any direct reports and junior team members to develop their professionalism and media expertise.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding and application of all media planning tools including (but not limited to) ComScore, Kantar, MediaTools, MRI, Nielsen Media Impact (NMI)
- Remains current on industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business, marketing, or equivalent
- 5+ years in media planning strategy experience within an agency setting preferred
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Professional, positive, and team-player attitude
- Strong, process-oriented individual with organization and time-management skills as well as an aptitude for accuracy & detail
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of media – from industry standards to marketplace and media planning tools including but not limited to ComScore, Kantar, Media Tools, MRI, Nielsen Media Impact (NMI)
- Proficiency with PC/MS applications with strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
