Job Summary
Manage all aspects of social media strategy, for three flea markets in Texas (DFW, Houston, San Antonio) and our amusement park near El Paso. This is a salaried 40 hour + per week position. Must be able to work every Saturday and Sunday. This role must visit all properties monthly. A major portion of travel time will be by automobile. Typical work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, Thursday, Friday Saturday, Sunday. Must be flexible as to days off during the week to accommodate meetings and activities. Generally, 8 am to 5 pm weekday and 9 am to 6 pm or longer on weekends.

This is not a remote position.

Essential Functions -
  • Develop and implement a strategic social media plan to increase brand awareness, followers, and engagement across multiple platforms including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Marketing Managers in developing a social media plan to best promote each property.
  • Research & make recommendations for emerging social media platforms that would benefit our brand.
  • Monitor and manage social platforms and reply to guests' questions, comments, and complaints.
  • Prepare monthly reports for all markets to analyze growth, engagement, effectiveness, wins, and future opportunities.
  • Manage/adhere to social media budget.
  • Ability to create effective social media content.
  • Travel to each property monthly to collect content/post and to cover major events.
  • Must be able to work weekends.

Physical Demands -
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Required Education/Experience -

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in social media marketing or marketing.
  • Previous experience managing social media and creating compelling content.
  • Previous experience marketing to Hispanic consumer.
  • Familiarity with cities we operate in - Dallas, Houston, San Antonio & El Paso.
  • Visited a Traders Village previously (awareness).
