We are seeking a highly skilled, meticulous, and experienced Senior Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the several of large brands’ social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the company's website, and generate high-quality leads for our sales team. The Senior Social Media Specialist will work closely with the entire digital marketing team (SEO, PPC, Email, Content, and Video) to ensure that all the social media efforts align with the overall business strategy.

This position reports to the Digital Content Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead in the creation, development, and implementation of comprehensive social media content calendars across multiple social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Nextdoor and LinkedIn for multiple brands.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaigns, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Build, present, and interpret detailed reports to Senior Management and various team members.
  • Create and coordinate with other team members in the production of creative assets including images, graphics, videos, stories, and other engaging content - routinely driving original and innovative ideas for content.
  • Build, manage, and optimize social ad campaigns including, but not limited to, Facebook/Instagram, Linkedin, Nextdoor, etc.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to social media interactions, effectively cultivating favor and leads.
  • Perform extensive industry research to study trends, seasonality, and buying behaviors to refine and advance strategy.
  • Develop, expand, and oversee community and/or blogger or influencer outreach efforts.
  • Identify and provide solutions for threats and opportunities arising from competition.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience producing custom social content and managing multiple brands’ social accounts.
  • Agency or agency-like experience is highly preferred since there will be multiple campaigns involved.
  • Expert knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Advanced understanding & familiarity with reporting platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of creating and managing full-funnel social ad campaigns.
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities and writing skills tailored for social media.
  • Proven experience leading and organizing photo and video shoots.
  • Must have expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • Ability to quickly grasp project details and lead the execution.
  • Proven track record of innovative thinking, consistently proposing new ways to keep content fresh.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required.
