Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and creative Social & Digital Media Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strategic mind and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This is an in-office position in Baton Rouge, LA.
- Research, curate, write, and schedule social media and blog content for assigned brands, tailored to each platform’s specs and audience.
- Assist in creating SEO-informed content for blogs, websites, and marketing materials like brochures.
- Execute overall brand strategies and creative goals across digital and social media channels.
- Engage with and respond to followers and fans daily, managing brand communication, reviews, and messages.
- Plan, build, and analyze eblast campaigns, including audience targeting and reporting on key statistics.
- Create and monitor targeted search engine campaigns to boost visibility and drive engagement (training provided).
- Track and report website traffic through Google Analytics, delivering insights to inform strategy.
- Generate campaign ideas that align with client goals, building content calendars with optimized posting frequencies.
- Monitor campaigns in real-time, adjusting tactics based on data and engagement metrics.
- Create, implement, and manage paid social media ads, including audience targeting, budget management, and boosting posts.
- Stay updated with platform trends, emerging tools, and new digital technologies to keep strategies relevant and effective.
- Ensure all social media content meets platform-specific size and format requirements for posts, reels, stories, etc.
- Report campaign results to clients, using data to make informed adjustments to strategies and improve outcomes.
- Develop customized, multi-channel digital marketing strategies tailored to client goals and target markets.
- Use AI tools for market analysis, campaign forecasting, and operational efficiency, leveraging insights to enhance strategy.
- Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships, presenting proposals, and addressing feedback.
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data, aligning marketing results with broader client business goals.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities and refine strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of strategies across creative, sales, and fulfillment.
- Track campaign KPIs, generate performance reports, and adapt strategies to achieve client goals and improve ROI.
- Experience: At least one year of agency or similar experience in Digital / Social Media Marketing position.
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects that demonstrate your copywriting skills.
- Creativity: Exceptional creative and innovative thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to unique challenges.
