The Media Frameworks QE team is seeking a self-motivated Software Quality Engineer to ensure a stellar Media Experience across the Apple Ecosystem. The Audio & Media Technologies Group (AMT) provides the media and graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including Vision Pro, Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod, TV, Watch and AirPods/Beats line of Products. We’re seeking an individual with excellent programming abilities, outstanding social relation skills, and a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Develop automation using Python and Swift frameworks, and implement tests for new Media related features. Description In this role, you will define and implement functional and performance tests for new features, automate both new and existing functionality by developing Python/Swift libraries, and report any failures. You will also communicate the quality status of existing and upcoming features, collaborate closely with development engineers and multi-functional teams, and build strong working relationships across the organization. Minimum Qualifications BS in CS/CE/EE Proficiency in coding with Python or similar OOP languages Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Excellent social skills, including active listening, open-mindedness, and clear, cohesive expression Proven technical leadership abilities and a collaborative team player Demonstrated capacity to take on increasing responsibilities, with a focus on growth and career development Ability to drive innovation and deliver creative, impactful solutions to complex challenges Experience in developing and completing automation solutions High standards for product quality, with a commitment to excellence beyond "good enough" Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112,300 and $195,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
