GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide technical expertise and support in the implementation, support, and maintenance of hardware and software to support Web Collaboration services, Windows Server, SQL Server solutions, and the Windows suite of applications. Responsibilities include:
- Web Collaboration software installation, configuration, upgrade, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., Adobe Connect, Cisco WebEx, MS Lync, MS Windows 2008, MS SQL, and Federated login).
- Web Collaboration hardware installation, configuration, upgrade, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., Blade servers, F5, firewall).
- Provide primary and backup administration of customer multimedia and web collaboration systems, including system backup and restore, monitoring, maintenance, license management, and coordination with vendors.
- Architect, develop enhancements, design, and perform system engineering activities for successful delivery of interactive Web Collaboration services.
- Translate requirements into system design documents, operational procedures, and user guides.
- Act as an expert liaison with other components of customer’s equipment for information sharing and training.
- Problem determination, including interfacing with customer IT specialists as necessary.
- Tier 3 problem resolution, including dealing with software and hardware vendor technical support.
- Develop enhancements to web-collaboration applications.
- Perform demonstrations and conduct instructor-led trainings.
Provide technical expertise and support in the implementation, support, and maintenance of hardware and software for Video Teleconferencing, including:
- Video Teleconferencing hardware installation, configuration, upgrade, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Investigate emerging technologies and deploy solutions that encourage adoption of video teleconferencing technologies.
- Architect, develop enhancements, design, and perform system engineering activities for successful delivery of Video Teleconferencing services.
- Monitor customer’s on-site meetings and provide assistance to maintain equipment and presentations during meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 7 years’ experience, or High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be prepared to commute to the office up to 3 days a week.
