About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Awareness Paid Media Director to join our North American team on a short-term contract (approximately 6 months). This role is crucial in developing and executing awareness media strategies to meet brand awareness, consideration, and acquisition goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in multi-channel paid media strategies, ideally for an entertainment company, with a proven track record testing and measuring media investment to establish business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute best in class awareness media strategies across TV, online video, sponsorships, cinema, audio, out-of-home, display, and paid social channels.
- Explore innovative media partnerships with media owners to drive awareness and consideration of client beyond traditional media placements
- Manage the awareness media budget and optimize spend across channels.
- Lead agency relationships and cross-functional partnerships to support brand imperatives and growth goals.
- Oversee incrementality tests and improve media measurement in collaboration with Business Insights.
- Recommend yearly and quarterly investment strategies in collaboration with our media agency and grounded in data
- Stay current on digital media industry trends and recommend innovative approaches.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of multi-channel paid media marketing experience, preferably in entertainment or subscription services.
- Experience with attribution, incrementality, and media measurement models.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills.
- Expertise in budget management and forecasting.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in utilizing customer insights for successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or graduate degree.
- Media agency experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of subscription revenue business models
