Work Schedule: Working 20 hours or less per week.
Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-7:00pm;
Thursday 3:00pm-7:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Reports to: Priest

Summary
St. Brigid Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX, is seeking support for our Music Coordinator in the operation of the Music department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist the Music Coordinator to plan and coordinate music for all weekend masses, holy days, weddings, funerals, and other parish events, ensuring a diverse and inclusive community by retrieving information from records, emails, minutes and other related documents.
- Assist Music Coordinator by responding and resolving administrative inquiries and questions.
- Assist the Music Coordinator with setting up for a variety of the parish choirs, including rehearsals, equipment, and other necessary materials. with a focus on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Work closely with Music coordinator to prepare and schedule rehearsals
- Collaborate with the Music coordinator to maintain organization of the rehearsal room and music area of the sanctuary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- English and Spanish preferred but not necessary, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate volunteer musicians and choirs.
- Experience with computer software and Microsoft Office Applications
- Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30lbs.
