**Job Description**

The Food Runner is responsible for keeping inventory of transporting, stocking, and cleaning/clearing products to ensure business and customer needs are met. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

**Job Responsibilities**

**Some of the things you?ll do**

+ Greets guests with a smile and friendly welcome

+ Ensures timely and accurate delivery of food from kitchen to table while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

+ Coordinates food orders to guarantee efficiency and assists other front of house employees with guest requests

+ Anticipates guest needs and completes side work such as rolling silverware and cleaning menus

+ Demonstrates menu knowledge and enthusiastically makes recommendations

+ Shows flexibility in assisting team and observing responsible alcohol service

+ Ensures guest safety while they play and maintains food quality

+ Serves guests with high service standards and keeps common areas clean and organized

+ Engages with guests and maintains positive body language

**Qualifications**

+ Strong guest service skills, with a focus on creating positive experiences

+ Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, including comfort with talking to strangers

+ Ability to work well in a team and a fast-paced environment

+ Experience in high-volume restaurants/bars is preferred

+ High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to maintaining standards

+ Excellent time management and organizational skills

+ Self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity

+ Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

+ Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, and bend as required by the job

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment

+ Desire for continued learning and development through training and education

+ Emotional intelligence and self-awareness to provide excellent guest service

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
