Katzen Eye Group is soliciting expressions of interest to an upcoming Retina Photographer position to join our team working from our Baltimore, Md. Metro Area offices. Our top candidates will bring at least three years of experience as a retina photographer and ophthalmic technician working in busy practice. Candidate must be able to perform phelbotomy and a COA/COT would be highly preferred.

Our Ophthalmic Photographers are responsible for providing the highest quality ophthalmic patient care possible. Performing accurate ophthalmic digital photographs as per the ordering physician. This position will also serve as an ophthalmic technician as required by the demands of business.



Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform ophthalmic photography including fundus photos, red free imaging, deep red imaging, stereoscopic imaging and autofluoroscent imaging
  • Perform OCT scans on Zeiss Cirrus OCTs
  • Perform fluorescein angiography
  • Perform ICG angiography
  • Perform venipuncture and injection of dye


Qualifications:
  • Previous verifiable experience as an opthalmic photographer is required
  • Experience (min. 1 year) on Heidelberg HRA Spectralis/OCT Camera systems perferred
  • Prior experience with phlebotomy is required
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
