We are seeking a motivated Senior Account Executive with experience selling in the podcast and/or audio space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a large book of business within a fast-growing organization. The position sits at the crossroads of podcasting, media sales, and brand partnerships, representing leading creators to global brands and media agencies.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Account Executive with experience selling in the podcast and/or audio space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a large book of business within a fast-growing organization. The position sits at the crossroads of podcasting, media sales, and brand partnerships, representing leading creators to global brands and media agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage existing relationships with clients and agencies to drive new business and meet revenue goals.
- Pitch The Roost's podcast roster and respond promptly to RFPs.
- Maximize revenue by negotiating competitive rates and optimizing inventory use.
- Lead client meetings to understand client needs, share updates and build long-term partnerships.
- Track and report pipeline activity regularly to management.
- Achieve individual targets for revenue generation and in-person interactions.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive networks, and the direct response marketplace.
- Represent The Roost at industry events, traveling as needed to key markets.
- Take on additional projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.
- 5+ years of experience in podcast or audio advertising sales.
- Proven success in closing deals and driving revenue growth.
- Strong agency and client relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Experience in direct response sales and understanding of conversion metrics.
- Ability to balance negotiations with broader business objectives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce/Affinity.
- Los Angeles, CA-based.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to engage effectively with brands and talent.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized in managing tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of marketing trends, pop culture, and media strategies.
