Job Description
The Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for keeping our office in the spotlight. Responsibilities include frequent interaction with our doctor, team, patients, their adult guardians and the surrounding community, as well as writing press releases, article and other communications that generate a good amount of buzz for our pediatric dental office. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of media relations at all levels and have excellent communication skills and a creative spirit. They must be proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, as well as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and web usage. Being punctual and organized is a must. Proven marketing experience is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and execute internal and external marketing efforts.
- Act as liaison between our office and other dental offices and pediatricians.
- Organize and attend chamber of commerce events, local elementary school visits, library visits, preschool visits, various Moms groups and other local public events.
- Set up and manage in office games, fundraising events and contests.
- Decorate office in creative and inviting ways for our young patients.
- Design and create print material to reinforce our brand.
- Manage and promote our Free Little Library.
- Manage the social media flow into and out of our office.
- Create a press kit that gives access to authoritative information about our pediatric dental office, it's staff, it's products and it's services.
- Keep all social media accounts current with active participation.
- Maintain current information on our website through our web director.
