Key Responsibilities
Media Relations:
- Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials.
- Coordinate with media outlets to distribute press releases and pitch story ideas.
- Maintain and update a database of media contacts and journalists.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing press events, conferences, and product launches.
- Handle logistics for events, including coordinating schedules and managing vendor relationships.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and monitor media coverage and provide regular reports.
- Analyze campaign performance and assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars and schedules for PR activities.
- Handle general administrative tasks, including responding to inquiries and organizing files.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Knowledge of media monitoring tools and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
