Position: Public Relations and Events Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Management
* Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key company events, including client engagement events, industry conferences, and external presentations.
* Oversee all aspects of event logistics, such as venue selection, vendor management, attendee communications, and on-site event coordination.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive event calendar aligned with Monogram's PR and business development goals.
* Track and manage event budgets, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective execution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging event content and ensure that all event materials reflect Monogram's brand standards.
Public Relations Strategy and Execution
* Develop and implement public relations strategies to strengthen Monogram's reputation and visibility in the healthcare industry.
* Coordinate and support conference appearances and speaking engagements for leadership, handling content development, speaker preparation, presentation materials, media outreach, and event promotion.
* Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and industry influencers to increase coverage opportunities.
* Supported by PR partner, report on the impact of public relations initiatives, assessing brand visibility, media coverage, and overall reach.
* Act as the primary liaison for PR inquiries, managing incoming requests and coordinating responses in alignment with Monogram's messaging.
* Support the development and implementation of messaging guidelines and tools to drive consistency and efficacy.
Social Media and Brand Support
* Assist in managing Monogram's social media presence as it relates to public relations activities by developing and scheduling posts, tracking engagement, and supporting community interactions as needed.
* Contribute to the creation and management of branded digital content, such as social media posts, press releases, and other communications aligned with Monogram's voice and audience priorities.
* Maintain and expand Monogram's library of PR resources (ex. exec bios, company fact sheet) ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and easy accessibility for internal stakeholders.
* Support updates to the website and other digital channels to enhance usability and relevance in line with brand objectives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* 4-6 years of experience in public relations, event planning, or a related role.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful public relations strategies and managing high-profile events.
* Experience in coordinating conferences and supporting senior executives with speaking engagements preferred.
* Strong project management and multitasking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear, consistent brand messaging.
* Familiarity with digital and social media channels; experience with social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of PR tools such as Cision or Meltwater preferred.
