Job Description
J’s Communications is a full-service Motorola two-way radio dealer based in Fresno, California. Founded in 1991, J’s Communications is the largest Motorola dealer in the Central Valley. We perform system design, troubleshoot, program, and install wireless systems for a variety of customers.
As a Field Installation & Repair Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing two-way radio portables, dash- and trunk-mount mobiles, infrastructure, rooftop system antennas, splitters & components, and other wireless communication systems at customer sites. Duties include installation, preventative maintenance, testing, and repairing of analog & digital two-way radio equipment. Our technicians must have excellent communication skills, be motivated, customer service oriented, and have a professional attitude and appearance. We will train you!
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience handling electronics and technical equipment/devices
- RF experience is a plus! (we will train you!)
- Willingness to learn new technology and obtain manufacturer certifications for our product suite
- Candidates must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass background check
- High School Diploma or GED
