Amentum is now hiring for a Radio Frequency Engineer (All Levels) position in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.

The candidate will perform the following duties:

Designs, manages, and oversees the installation and maintenance of wireless radio communications systems and equipment.

Analyzes wireless communications equipment and identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and dependability of wireless systems. Ensures compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Performs wireless systems testing including interference analysis and frequency/coverage planning.

Troubleshoots wireless networking issues.

Monitors wireless network performance and generates reports that track and measure key performance metrics.

Updates and maintains guidelines, standard procedures, and wireless systems documentation.

Provides technical knowledge and skill in using specialized applications in Radio Frequency.

Experienced in the operational environment and using high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation methodologies on complex problems that require in-depth knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

Participates as needed in all phases of engineering design and software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation and presentation phases.

Applies principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of expertise to specific order requirements and in the process uses advanced mathematical principles and methods to arrive at practical, innovative solutions.

Designs and prepares technical reports, data bases, studies, and related documentation, makes charts and graphs to record results.

Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required by the order.

Has knowledge of security requirements for specialized information transfer applications and is skilled in preparing technical reports and providing other services required by the order.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.

1-10+ years of experience.

10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Compensation:
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $250,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
