The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting RF analysis, modeling, and simulation using Finite Element Modeling (EM), STK/mission simulation, and quantitative analysis techniques. The role involves assessing the electromagnetic behavior of RF systems, predicting signal propagation characteristics, and optimizing system performance for various mission scenarios.

About The Position
We are seeking a skilled RF engineer/specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting RF analysis, modeling, and simulation using Finite Element Modeling (EM), STK/mission simulation, and quantitative analysis techniques. The role involves assessing the electromagnetic behavior of RF systems, predicting signal propagation characteristics, and optimizing system performance for various mission scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct RF analysis, modeling, and simulation using Finite Element Modeling (EM), STK/mission simulation, and quantitative analysis tools.
- Evaluate the electromagnetic performance of RF components and systems, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and propagation environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define simulation objectives, input parameters, and performance metrics.
- Interpret simulation results to provide insights into system behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose design optimizations.
- Validate and verify simulation models against experimental data or theoretical predictions.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate analysis findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in RF analysis and simulation.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Proven experience in RF analysis, modeling, and simulation, preferably in aerospace, defense, or telecommunications sectors.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Modeling (EM) software packages such as CST Microwave Studio, ANSYS HFSS, or COMSOL Multiphysics.
- Familiarity with STK (Systems Tool Kit) or other mission simulation software for space and satellite systems.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in quantitative analysis techniques for RF systems.
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and accuracy in simulation work.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of RF propagation models and simulation tools for terrestrial, airborne, and space-based communication systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for RF emissions and interference mitigation.
