Job Description
**These positions are for the radio swap project** Techs will be swapping out radios in existing customers. These duties will require not as much wiring and troubleshooting.
Description
We are the largest subcontractor of ADT in the US.
The Wireless Install Technician for installing, dismantling, reconstructing, and programming the wireless home security systems from ADT in a customer’s home or small business.
Duties and Responsibilities of Residential/Small Business Installer:
Responsible for all pre and post installation tasks such as configuration and installation of ADT wireless applications and monitoring for home computer and network. Could also include mobile devices.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Installs ADT application and configures monitoring applications for home network and mobile devices
- Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
- Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.
- Tests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
- Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
Experience:
- Experience with equipment installation (TV’s, dish, speakers, A/V equipment, etc.)
- Technical aptitude to configure, basic troubleshooting, and networking skills.
Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
- Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.
Other:
- Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must have a reliable vehicle that is able to transport at least a 4' fiberglass ladder. Can have a sedan if they have a place to store excess parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Logistics:
• Will be driving own vehicle and need to have a safe space to store equipment/ladder/tools. There is a recommended tools list we will provide.
o Will be responsible for tracking ADT inventory and measured on that.
• Mileage can be expensed for any one-way journey over 40 miles.
• Need to have a phone/ tablet to access the ADT’s Mobile Tech, their scheduling system. No reimbursement.
• 40-hour work week
• 2-week Training Period paid out at $17/hr.
• Non-Productive Time is also paid out at $18/hr.
• Will be measured and bonused on Quality, Productivity, and Upselling
o Based on these numbers there is opportunity to move up pay levels
• Bonuses are based on points. Expectation is to hit a minimum of 40 points a week.
o Points are earned by the following:
Every device installed = 1 point
Service Tickets (Radio Swaps) = 2 points
Upsells = (6% of the upsell divided by $2.5)
