About the Position: This role offers the flexibility of being primarily remote while also requiring in-person coverage of depositions and legal proceedings. The position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:Assisting with live Prevail depositions/sessions, which include:
- Recording on Prevail platform
- Deposition Read on/Swearing in Witness
- Marking and maintaining Exhibits
- Monitoring and managing the session
- Assisting any sessions with technical/administrative needs
- Current Court Reporting or Notary License for state
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with video conferencing/database platforms
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspaces/Slack/Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- A webcam, headset, and computer are needed as well for remote depositions!
Compensation:
Appearance Fee: $50-75 per hour; Page Rate: TBD.
The range is based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge.
