The Role:

A Brado Senior SEO specialist is responsible for creating full-scale SEO campaigns with little direction needed from their manager. With a focus on organic success, they manage all SEO activities such as identifying and helping to resolve technical and performance issues, developing content strategy based on keyword research and identified content gaps, and assisting with on-site optimization.

A Senior Specialist is capable of handling multiple projects and growth clients simultaneously, and they can manage their own time to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates for this role will live in the St. Louis, MO or Dallas/Ft. Worth TX areas. While our day-to-day work is done remotely, our teams gather in person for intentional work as needed. In St. Louis, our team comes together two or three days each week.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manages all facets of the SEO campaign
  • Uses Google Search Console and Google Analytics to identify areas of opportunity
  • Presents insights and opportunities to the client
  • On-site optimization and testing to help lift rankings and organic traffic
  • Writes page titles and meta descriptions
  • Writes schema markup
  • Performs keyword research
  • Researches industry trends
  • Uses third-party SEO tools
  • Works with developers to fix complex technical issues

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SEO experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO concepts; Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and semantic markup; Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics; Familiar with third-party SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog; Strong presentation skills; Organized and detail-oriented; Strong desire to learn new facets of SEO
